After moving into my home I was inundated with mail so I hastily filled out your questionnaire and sent it back. Now that things have calmed down, I want to really tell you about my experience with Stacy Clark and Tracy Shelton.
In the beginning, we had limited time to go out and look at listings, one Saturday Tracy was so gracious to meet us in South City, so we jumped in the car and off we went. Tracy said she had a soccer game to attend alte that afternoon but she would give us as much of her time as possible. So we went, we looked at about five listings that day and thought we found the one. Tracy took action and called the realtor, got the info we needed and said she would write up the contract and get back to us. I am sorry to say it wasnt the one, but it was no fault of Tracy's.
Anytime we contracted Stacy to say we needed to get into a house for viewing, he was always willing to help. We would get a number of listings together, he would research them to see if they were already under contract or still available and set up the appointment; no matter what time day or night he was always willing to do the showings.
After looking for houses in what I thought was my price range, Stacy and I spoke again about price. He was very patient with me; I was very concerned with the money/payment side of buying a house. I never wanted to over extend myself and go into something knowing it was going to land in foreclosure before it ever began to be my dream home so we spoke many times about the amount I wanted to pay for a home. After doing some calculations he informed me I could go up on the price a little bit and possibly get a better home for myself, so we started looking at another price range of listings, the hunt continues.
House hunting is not fun, but with this team of Stacy and Tracy working with you, it can be. Tracy was our lucky charm; I say this beacuse every time we went out with her we would find something we could see ourselves living in. Then Stacy would give his ok before we proceeded. You have to love and agent who is looking out for your wellbeing. When Stacy said it was a go paperwork started flying back and forth in emails, be sure to sign every highlighted green arrow so you could get it back to him time was of the essence.
In the end, we signed around eighteen documents and ended up with house that we love. I am glad Stacy took the extra time to calculate the payment cost with me so I knew exactly what my price range could be and not cut myself short. As they say behind every successful man is a good woman.
